Dr. Gleceria C. Mateo, graduated from Centro Escolar University in Manila in 1987 with Bachelor of Arts major in Political Science degree.  She took up 18 units in Education in 1988 at Northern Bataan Institute. She received her Master of Education major in Social Studies in 2006 and Doctor of Education major in Educational Management in 2009 from National University-Manila. For the past 6 years, she served as Department Head in Araling Panlipunan and Assistant Principal II for Senior High School in Hermosa National High School.  She taught for tertiary level at Bataan Peninsula University in 2014 and currently teaching at the BPSU Graduate School for Social Studies program.

Dr. Gleceria C. Mateo is the current principal of Magsaysay National High School. She started her duty in the year 2017-2018. She established major changes and innovations in the school to better facilitate learning and help the teachers of the Junior and Senior High School department. Her passion is making sure that all learners are given quality education and enough understanding to alleviate the struggle on problematic learners. She initiated the opening of Senior High School in MNHS to cater for the incoming Grade 11 students within and outside of MNHS. This simple act of aiming to help the community brought MNHS to a major turning point as an institution.
